BarNoir is all about creating a better bar experience – quality visuals, beverages with taste and intention, and a team that’s flexible enough to be the vibe or bring it.

Our staffing and services are available for public or private events, and brand activations. Bonus points if we can get a plate and add a song or two to the playlist.

We said no liberation without libations…and we said what we said.

Hospitality has always been about community. Even when it is uncomfortable, we are dedicated to strengthening our community through professional training, peer mentorship, and amplifying voices and policies that move the industry forward.

BarNoir began with a bartender who didn’t see fellow Black bartenders being represented. Which then became not seeing other Black restauranteurs being represented.

We have the space, the liquor license, the team…but as the song goes,

“Now that we’ve found love, what are we gonna do with it?”

That’s where BarNoir comes in. Its the work we love doing, especially when we can do it together.

We’ve got 17 years (we’re 25 though) and counting of experience navigating life and career behind, and in front of, the bar.

We are accepting booking opportunities to connect with people of all walks of life, expressing ourselves and offering insights into our creative discipline through writing, digital and print work, and speaking engagements.
